On 8 September 2022 the world came together to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her unwavering and selfless dedication as Queen began in 1952 and continued for 70 years, firmly entrenching her in our minds and hearts forever.
As a commitment to preserve the memory of Her Majesty, the Supply Department has created a lapel pin to serve as a visible representation of our gratitude for her service. Golden maple leaves at the top of the pin serve as the backdrop for the dates of Her Majesty’s birth and passing, 1926 – 2022. A Poppy adorns the bottom of the pin to symbolize Remembrance, the late Queen’s service, and how she will be remembered by all for generations to come.
