On behalf of the Grafton Legion, we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Labour Day weekend.
Last night at our Friday Night dinners, we served 142 Hot Hamburger meals. Another fantastic record.
To accommodate the larger turnouts, we have re-arranged the hall for Friday nights.
Meal tickets are now purchased by the main doors with all the desserts moved out of the kitchen to the tables at the north of the room. This allows for a safer and easier movement when getting your meals and allows more room in the kitchen for the volunteers cooking, serving and doing dishes.
Fridays include four meat draws and the President has extended the “Dinner for 2” FREE DRAW into September as it has been such a great success.
We are planning Roast Beef for next Friday and a post on that will be coming soon.
We thank all that came out, including several families, and look forward to seeing you again.
