Tonight the Spaghetti Team put on a “massive” meal in memory of member Judy Immel. They had extra help in the kitchen with extra on the floor resetting tables, which were filled as fast as they were reset and worked on keeping the dessert table filled.
Judy’s family was present for the evening.
Proceeds from the meal with extra donations, as well as the Branch making a donation, Joel Scott, Director, Donor Relations & Communications from Community Care Northumberland, Ed’s House, was presented with a cheque of $4,176.60.
A “very tired” Friday Night Team wishes to thank everyone who came out, as a new record of 185 meals was served. That number does not count for the several who came back for seconds, and we know of at least two who had thirds, “with” garlic bread.
There families attending as we had 21 children’s tickets sold, that too is a record.
