What an awesome couple of weekends we had!!!! July 8, 9 and 10 and again on July 16th! The Grafton Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary and the Grafton Legion membership, worked together to provide food for the OASA ball tournaments held at the Grafton Ball diamonds. Four very warm but exciting days of burgers, pea meal bacon, hotdogs, sausages, pop, Gatorade and lots of cold water being cooked and served to the hungry crowd. Three very ambitious young people from the community, looking for their volunteer hours assisted us in this endeavor. I must say, if our future is in the hands of these three young people, we’re in safe hands!!! Thanks to everyone who helped out, and thanks to the hungry spectators and players who purchased the food. All proceeds are going to the Grafton Legion to assist in the renovations.
