We had 10 executive and 15 members attend the General Meeting. No Quorum was possible.
Senior’s Darts, which was being held on Thursday afternoon has been moved to Wednesday afternoon 1-3pm.
The Dieppe Memorial Service is held out front of the Grafton Legion, not at the Cenotaph.
We will be holding a D-Day Memorial Service at the Grafton Cenotaph on Tuesday June 6th at 6pm.
There is a small change in our Business Hours. We will be open Thursdays from 2-6pm (instead of 2-8pm) and Fridays 2-8pm (instead of 2-10pm).
Scott Powell brought in the hand carved table he is donating to the Branch as a Fundraiser. It is a beautiful piece! Tickets will be sold at $5.00 each and will be available in July. The winner will be drawn in September at our Corn Roast. Details to follow.
Carl Chappel is going to build us two round picnic tables for use outside on the patio and will provide us with a quote on a wooden bench.
Early Bird Membership renewal program will begin in September. You might be able to renew online too by that time.
The Tuesday Night Dart League presented the Grafton Legion with a $100 donation. Thank you!
Comrade Jen Coulter broke her leg in a fall as has been in Peterborough Hospital for surgery. She will be transferred to Cobourg Hospital Fri June 2nd or Monday June 5th for physical therapy. We wish her a speedy recovery!
The main Hall will be closed so the floor can be refinished Mon June 5 through Thu June 8th. The Club Room will remain OPEN.
We are getting quotes to redo the entrance and bathroom floors.
We were presented with two quotes to mount the new electronic sign out front. After some discussion it was felt that using steel posts was the better way to go and work will proceed shortly.
